Are you a parent or guardian? Does your child suffer from food intolerance? Are you worried something your child is eating is making them ill?

If so we’d really like to hear from you. Over the next few months we will be investigating what life is really like for those of you with children who suffer from food intolerance. As we already know, living with and treating food intolerances can be very difficult and many of us struggle to deal with the day to day obstacles it presents. Having a child who cannot eat certain foods can be incredibly daunting and many parents have to face this challenge with little or no support.

We’d like to hear YOUR opinions so we can build a clear and realistic understanding of the problems you face everyday. Maybe you’re having trouble finding an alternative food product, or perhaps your child is refusing to eat the alternative foods you have found. Are you getting the support and guidance you need from your doctor or have they dismissed your concerns? Maybe you feel there is not enough information out there for you, or is there too much information and you don’t know what to believe?

Even if your child has not been diagnosed with a food intolerance but you are still concerned food is negatively affecting their health we’d still like to hear from you. Whatever your concerns, criticisms or opinions are, let us know.

We hope that, with your help, we will be able to identify the pitfalls of food intolerance and how they affect parents and children. If we can identify and understand these problems we hope to be able to bring this information to the organisations and people who have the power to make things better!
